Premium 50 chocolate packaging. Opens to reveal surprise burst of colour.
When it comes to chocolate, there are no compromises in the Charlotte Brunswick recipes. These are the highest quality products on the market.
I developed packaging for their top price product, a 50 chocolate selection box, working with manufacturers in China. After developing a chocolate ‘menu’ for this box, I then created similar booklets for use with other smaller selection boxes.
Embracing their heritage and brand figurehead (Charlotte, born in the 1700s), I evolved their logo to be more effective with adjusted hierarchy of elements.
The surprise. Opening a lid of a box that is silver foiled on black to reveal bright orange beneath. This bright and vivid colour enhances those of the chocolates.
A ribbon pulls to reveal a hidden drawer, with patterns along each edge. A magnetic clasp and sleeve keeps the tasty contents safe inside.
The brand is all about storytelling. From the external facing side to internal lid, the text documents the natural flavours and ingredients used within each hand made chocolate with an illustration to accompany.
A refreshed identity and the introduction of two new premium boxes to the Charlotte Brunswick range has broadened their gift opportunities and allowed for this challenger brand to take on larger (lower quality) chocolate brands within the marketplace.
